Lexus’ flagship saloon has numerous styling revisions to enhance its sleek and elegant silhouette, including a redesigned front bumper, headlamps, and a dark metallic finish on the spindle grille.
The new headlamps feature BladeScan Adaptive High-beam System (AHS) which helps to provide a wider illumination area along with smoother and finer light distribution control.
The LS 500 also sits on 20-inch alloy wheels that feature a noise-reducing design thanks to resonator holes incorporated into the wheels. The wheels are finished in Hyper Chrome Metallic and come with run-flat tyres.
Enhancing the comfort and handling even further is an air suspension that features Adaptive Variable Suspension and revised stabilizers and suspension bounds stoppers. This suspension system is tuned to offer better ride comfort on the city streets but adapts and controls roll when the steering wheel is turned.
The 2021 LS also comes with Access Mode Control which raises the vehicle when stopped to allow for easier ingress and egress.
Powering the 2021 LS is an improved 3.5-litre V35A-FTS twin-turbo engine that produces 421 PS and 600 Nm. The luxury saloon sprints to 100 km/h from rest in 5 seconds while top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
The difference between the Luxury and the Executive Kiriko variants are the comfort features. Both LS 500 variants are available in two colours – Iridium Silver and Sonic Iridium.
The LS 500 Luxury has the following features:
- Chateau/Hazel interior colour scheme
- 480 litres boot space
- 28-way power-adjustable front seats
- Power-adjustable rear seats
- 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support
Meanwhile, the LS 500 Executive Kiriko has the following features on top of what’s on the Luxury variant:

Both variants of the LS 500 feature 12 airbags and Lexus Safety System+ (LSS+) ADAS suite as standard. Some highlight features of the LSS+ include:
