    The Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS is a four-door luxury coupe that is as elegant as it is athletic. Also categorized as an executive car, the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS is positioned between the E-Class AMG and the S-Class within the Mercedes-Benz model range.

    The Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS comes with two variants, the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 450 4MATIC and the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 53 4MATIC+ that come in different engine setups.
    Being in competition with the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS are the Audi A7 Sportback, BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe and Porsche Panamera.

    On the exterior, the front of the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS is self-confidently inclined forwards. The particularly slim headlamps are not only as bright as day, they also radiate dominance. The radiator grille opens out towards the road.

    The Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 450 4MATIC and the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 53 4MATIC+ get the AMG Line exterior and a Night package, 20 inch AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels, Agility Control lowered comfort suspension and Multibeam LED headlights with adaptive high beam assist plus.

The Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 450 4MATIC has a 3 liter in-line 6 bi-turbo engine that produces 367 hp from 5,500 to 6,100 rpm and 500 Nm of torque from 1,600 to 4,000 rpm. And the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 53 4MATIC+ has a 3 liter in-line 6 bi-turbo that produces 435 hp at 6,100 rpm and 520 Nm of torque from 1,600 to 5,800 rpm. Bothe the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 450 4MATIC and the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 53 4MATIC+ have a 48-volt hybrid assist system called EQ Boost.

    Transmission

    The Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS has a nine-speed automatic gearbox.

    Chassis

    The chassis of the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS is based upon the E-Class however is around 40 percent stiffer, which gives the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS a superior handling.
