Neta Auto Malaysia has rung up 100 bookings of the Neta V EV at the recently-concluded Malaysia Autoshow 2023. Deliveries are expected to start in Q3 2023. After much teasing, bookings are now opened for the Neta V. Prices start from RM 99,800 (on-the-road, without insurance), making the Neta V the cheapest electric vehicle (EV) in Malaysia at the time of writing. The first 100 customers who book online are also entitled to a RM 10k cash voucher, which brings the final price down to RM 89,800. Thailand has begun sales of the updated Neta V, which brings with it a newer, bigger battery, and a new colour, at the same THB 549,000 (~RM 71k) price point. The hatchback is now fitted with a newer 40.7 kWh lithium-ion phosphate (LFP) battery, bringing a larger capacity than the previous 38.5 kWh lithium-ion-type nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery.
