Part of the perks of owning a supercar is having people look at you, and if that's what you crave, then this is the best way to get it. Say hello to the McLaren Artura Spider, now in Malaysia and yours to order from RM 3,400,000 with duties but sans options. Powertrain and performance Woking terms it as a High-Performance Hybrid (HPH), so fittingly it's got an upgraded plug-in hybrid system under the rear cowl. At the core of things is a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, paired with an advanced E-

Fuel economy runs aren’t something you would expect from a supercar but the McLaren Artura holds the title of “the most fuel-efficient McLaren ever produced” with a claimed 50+ mpg (4.7 L/100 km) mileage based on combined EU WLTP ratings. That makes it better than the Proton Saga which we recorded an average of 6.7 L/100 km! Granted, those figures are still pending final validation at least according to the press docket but the figures that we can certainly not dispute would be its performance.

Built from the ground up, the all-new 2021 McLaren Artura replaces the McLaren 570S. It represents many of the company’s firsts, of which we’ll get into in a moment. McLaren calls it a High-Performance Hybrid (HPH) supercar and unlike the McLaren P1, the Artura’s production number isn’t capped. The McLaren Artura is the first to sit on the new platform named McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture (MCLA), which is optimized for HPH powertrains and is built in-house. The body features a combinati

2020 is quite a challenging year but as the saying goes, the show must go on. And went on it did as Malaysia saw around 80 models launched this year. Despite movement restrictions for almost the whole year, that is still an impressive number all things considered. But while we have a list featuring 15 of the most important cars of the year, this time, we’re going to focus on most expensive cars that were launched in 2020. We’ll focus on 10 and some might have been sold out by the time you finish

Like what you see? This is the fire-breathing, carbon-fibre-clad 2021 McLaren 765LT, unveiled today at McLaren Kuala Lumpur. Let's get right down to it because this is as no-nonsense as it gets. The good people of Woking took a tame 720S, elongated it, added expensive go-faster bits and pieces from their Formula 1 and flagship road cars to create this beast. The result is a blisteringly-quick, shouty British brute. Some numbers: the M840T 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 makes an eye-watering 765 PS at

Grand tourer or GT is a phrase to describe cars made for high speed cruising, combining performance and luxury. Traditionally, most GT cars are front-engined and are heavier, which blunts agility and nimbleness. This is where the 2019 McLaren GT pulls an advantage over traditional GT cars. McLaren’s take on a GT car is to combine luxury, practicality and agility. Priced at RM 908,000 (without tax and options), the McLaren GT is motivated by a 4.0-litre twin turbocharged V8 that makes 620 PS and
