The new 2019 BMW 740Le xDrive with a facelift is now available in Malaysia but BMW has only provided only one variant. Priced at about RM 594,800.00 and equipped with a hybrid-petrol system, the BMW 740Le xDrive is facing competitors like Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi A8L and Jaguar XJ.

Design

The most obvious change of the 2019 BMW 740Le xDrive must be its big nose, the grille now is 40% bigger than before and the bonnet needs to be redesigned, by 50mm higher. Also, the headlamps are slimmer and the bumper feels simple but not dull.

The 7 Series uses a 3.0L 6-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor, the engine can deliver a max output of 286hp @ 5000-6000 rpm and a torque of 450 @ 1500-3500 rpm, while the electric has 113hp @ 3170rpm and 265Nm @ 0-2700rpm.
