Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has previewed the all-electric (EV) Volkswagen ID.4 in Malaysia at the VW Fest 2022. Note that the units on display are test units and may not be reflective of the specifications we'll be getting. Only one variant will be available – the Pro Performance, though price is yet to be announced. Specs wise, the Volkswagen ID.4 gets a rear-mounted motor with 204 PS/310 Nm. 0-100 km/h is completed in 8.5 seconds. Driving range in the WLTP cycle is up to 519 km

The Volkswagen Group has surprised the industry by reducing production at one of its electric vehicle (EV) plants as the company faces buyer reluctance towards its EVs, revealed by the head of one of its unions for workers to the German media. People say there’s no need to ‘reinvent the wheel’ but it seems Volkswagen might have done so. In the Volkswagen ID.4 EV - which will be launched in Malaysia - there are only two switches on the driver side to operate the four power windows. How does the driver use all four windows then?
