Honda City Hatchback – Overview In the noise and lights of MITEC KL, Honda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. has launched the 2022 Honda City Hatchback in Malaysia, with estimated prices ranging from RM 75,670 (1.5 S) to RM 87,860 (1.5 V),  with deliveries for the petrol versions starting in January 2022.  So far, Honda Malaysia has received 2,000 bookings for the City Hatchback. The selling price for the RS e:HEV will be announced later next year. MAZDA 3 Hatchback – Overview The Mazda 3 Hatchback continues to be an important product for the brand, continuing after many generations since its availability in Malaysia. Apart from hatchback attributes, positive styling has always been an asset and a huge purchasing reason for the Mazda 3 Hatchback. The Mazda 3 Hatchback in 2021 is available in two engine variants, 1.5-litre and 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engines. Fully imported from Japan, the Mazda 3 Hatchback is priced at RM 137,660 for the 1.5-litre variant and RM154,679 for the 2.0-litre High Plus variant.  Competitors include the Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus, Peugeot 308 and Citroen DS5, all of which have been discontinued for sales in Malaysia. In the purchase price, Mazda Malaysia/Bermaz also includes a five-year or 100,000 km free maintenance package that is inclusive of labour, parts and lubricants.

Renault Zoe – Overview The Renault Zoe doesn’t totally rewrite the formula. It looks much the same as before, largely because underneath it’s still that same car and since upgraded with more efficient motors and bigger batteries. The bigger battery and optional, more powerful ‘R135’ motor should have much the same effect. The former - a 52kWh pack that replaces the old car’s 41kWh battery which see the charging is quicker too, now that the Zoe supports DC charging up to 50kW via a CCS port hidden behind the Renault badge. Its exterior has been given a bit of a going over, but the interior is totally new with a big portrait touchscreen, more soft-touch and high-end materials that’s more, significantly more in some cases, compare with its rivals Nissan Leaf and BMW i3.
