Automotive Content Writer (English / Bahasa Malaysia)

Job Description:

- Produce original car-related content (car news, reviews, buying guide, test drive, etc.) in Bahasa Malaysia/in English.

- Generate new topics based on newly launched cars, users' needs and comparison of different car models.

- Assist with other ongoing programs, such as event/marketing planning, video production etc.

Job Requirements:

- Diploma or Degree in any field.

- At least 1 year of working experience as a writer (preferably in the automotive industry).

- Excellent writing skill in Bahasa Malaysia/in English. Proficient in another language would be an added advantage.

-Car enthusiasts with at least basic knowledge about cars, always follow up with domestic/international car news; enjoy writing and often share and discuss personal opinion on cars.

- Have a valid driver's license with good driving skills.

- Possess good knowledge in the automotive industry would be an added advantage.

Videographer cum editor

Job Description:

- Produce high-quality automotive video content on WapCar.my.

- Ideate and perform strategic planning needed for successful video production, i.e. location, handling equipment and camera angles.

- Responsible for video post-production which includes but not limited to video arrangement, colour grading, sound editing and content sourcing.

- Assist with other ad-hoc task or on-going programs, such as photoshoot, content planning, etc.

Job Requirements:

- Diploma or Degree in any field, discipline in film studies is a plus.

- Advance proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut, etc.

- Able to conceptualize ideas laid out by director/producer.

- Able to ideate concepts that are exciting and engaging for different vehicle segments.

- Able to work independently.

- Attention to details.

- Strong passion for cars is an added advantage.

Social Media Executive

Job Description

- Manage various online community platforms and social media (Facebook, Instagram etc.) on a daily basis.

- Responsible for social media deliverables which include content planning & development, execution, content optimizations, community management etc.

- Establish and actively host various group with interactive and engaging content for the online community.

- Improve social media follower engagement by promoting campaigns, exchange resources etc.

- Work cooperatively with key team members (within the internal team and cross-functional teams).

- Managing various ad hoc requests as assigned.

- Responsible for social media deliverables which include content planning & development, execution, content optimizations, community management etc.

Job Requirements

- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree is required.

- At least 1-year working experience managing social media channels and campaign is preferred.

- Excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in an additional language is a plus point.

- Excellent understanding of the local social media community’s behavior.
