The MINI SE features a wheel design named the ‘Corona Spoke’, which wasn’t an issue when it was coined. Now though, the term ‘corona’ has a stigma to it due to obvious reasons. So, MINI has decided to rename it to ‘Power Spoke’.
And quite aptly so, as the wheel does resemble our power socket, which is also the one used in the UK. With MINI being a British brand, well, it just clicks.
A MINI spokesperson told CarBuzz, “This was done to ensure Mini remains sensitive to all those experiencing the widespread impacts of Covid-19,”
The MINI Cooper SE is a fully electric vehicle with an electric motor producing 184 PS and 270 Nm of torque. 0-100 km/h is zapped in 7.3 seconds and it has a top speed of 150 km/h.
The quest for automotive knowledge began as soon as the earliest memories. Various sources information, even questionable ones, have been explored including video games, television, magazines, or even internet forums. Still stuck in that rabbit hole.
