MINI Malaysia has launched the new revitalized 2024 MINI Cooper S petrol at the 2024 Malaysia Autoshow in MAEPS Serdang. Only one variant is available and it is fully imported (CBU) from MINI’s Oxford plant in the United Kingdom:

More of a heavy facelift than a brand-new generation, the exterior design of the revitalized MINI Cooper S largely resembles the all-new all-electric MINI Cooper E. The BEV MINI is built in China in collaboration with GWM.

Still, the MINI Cooper S has that iconic endearing appeal of a MINI with the signature clamshell bonnet that blends seamlessly with the classic octagonal front grille. This is flanked by large circular LED headlights for that even more familiar face.

On the side, the MINI Cooper S is offered with 18-inch Slide Spoke 2-tone light alloy wheels while in the rear, triangular LED taillights add more MINI appeal.

Inside, the revitalized MINI Cooper S has a minimalist interior with a new steering wheel and a round OLED display smack dab in the middle serving as the main control centre displaying the speedometer and other convenience features like the air-conditioning and the infotainment.

In keeping up with today’s sustainability trends, the seats in the MINI Cooper S are made of vegan leather which is known as Vescin. This vegan leather material is also used on the three-spoke steering wheel.

Powering the MINI Cooper S is a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo engine that delivers up to 204 PS and 300 Nm. This powerplant is paired with a 7-speed double-clutch automatic transmission sending power to the front wheels.

In terms of driving aids, the MINI Cooper S comes with the following features:
