Slightly over a month ago, we reported that the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) will be replacing the ageing Proton Wira and Waja models with the Toyota Corolla Altis and Honda Civic FC.
Courtesy of the Honda Civic FC Facebook group, we now know that these police cars will be fitted with Viofo A129 Pro 4K digital video recorders (DVRs), recording both the front and rear of the car.

For those in the dark, the Viofo A129 Pro is a dual DVR solution that shoots native 4K videos up front, and 1080p videos at the rear. It also supports up to 256 GB Micro SD cards.
While this setup is currently exclusive to the police force, you’re not left in the dark if you want an integrated DVR solution, as Honda Malaysia does offer an optional DVR on selected Honda models.
