Hyundai Tucson

The South Korean carmaker Hyundai has introduced its cool and new 2020 Hyundai Tucson into Malaysia SUV market this year. Also, it has offered two variants for consumers, Elegance for RM 123,888.00 and Turbo for RM 143,888.00. Thanks to the nice policy of the government, this turbocharged SUV with many good facelifts can have a more competitive price. And its opponents are Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-30 and Kia Sportage.

Design

Engine

Hyundai Tucson has provided a Nu 2.0 MPi engine for Elegance, delivering 155ps @ 6200rpm and 192Nm @ 4000rpm, while the Turbo uses a Gamma 1.6 T-GDi engine, producing 177ps @ 5500rpm and 265Nm @ 1500-4500rpm.

Transmission

The Elegance version has a 6-speed Automatic Transmission and the 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission is for the Turbo.

Drive System

The Hyundai Tucson is a 2-wheel Drive SUV.

If you use the Turbo, its maximum torque kicks in at 1500rpm, which is very early and this means you can accelerate faster than many cars. However, the Elegance is not so delighted.

Engine Performance

Hyundai Tuscon Elegance and Turbo have top powers of 155ps and 177ps, which are enough for many people for their daily use.

Transmission Performance

The gearshifts of both variants feel quite easy as well as smooth and this can give a comfortable ride.

Both Hyundai Tuscon Elegance and Turbo have done a great job and the gear ratio feels good. With its responsive steering wheel and nimble handling, Tucson can be driven effortlessly and comfortably on the road.
