Honda

Established in year 2000, Honda Malaysia is a partnership between Honda Motor Co. Ltd. of Japan, DRB-HICOM Berhad and Oriental Holdings Berhad. Nearly all of the models offered in Malaysia are locally assembled in the Pegoh plant in Melaka. And virtually all models are popular in Malaysia, including the Honda City, Jazz, CR-V, HR-V, BR-V, Civic and Accord. The fully imported cars like the Odyssey and Civic Type R sell in smaller volume. The Honda e:N1 battery electric vehicle (BEV) made its first appearance in Indonesia at the ongoing 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). The HR-V-looking BEV made its ASEAN debut in Thailand where it is currently being assembled. The e:N1 also goes by e:Ny1 (Anyone) in Europe and the e:NS1/e:NP1 in China where it made its global debut. Despite looking like the HR-V, the e:N1 is built on the e:N Architecture F platform specially developed for front-motor-driven BEVs. It is pow
The Honda HR-V has pulled ahead of the Toyota Yaris Cross and Toyota Raize (twin of our local Perodua Ativa) to become Japan’s No.1 selling SUV model in the first half of 2024. In the first half of 2024, Honda delivered 44,164 units of the HR-V, which is sold in Japan as the Honda Vezel. The HR-V’s H1 2024 sales figure is 94% higher than in the same 6-month period last year. Overall, the Honda HR-V is Japan’s fifth best-selling model for H1 2024, behind three Toyotas: Corolla (85,201 units), Yar
Honda Malaysia is off to a rousing start of the year, with three models dominating the sales chart in the first half of 2024 (H1) – namely the City, HR-V, and the CR-V, as data from the Road Transport Department (JPJ) shows.
