BYD ended April 2024 by recording its best-ever monthly sales for exports, at 41,011 units, up 176.6% year-on-year. The figure excludes BYD buses, but includes BYD’s passenger sub-brands Denza and Formula Bao.
To date, BYD has exported over 430,000 vehicles, including commercial vehicles.
From January to April 2024, BYD sold 936,446 units of ‘new energy vehicle’ passenger cars globally, up 23.6% from the same four-month period last year. April 2024’s figures amounted to 313,245 units, up 3.5% from the previous month.
