To better reinforce unnecessary movements across borders during the Movement Control Order 3.0 (MCO 3.0), the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) will be setting up another 2 more roadblocks in Petaling Jaya.
The 2 new roadblocks will be located along the Federal Highway and Taman Kanagapuram on the Old Klang Road. Both roadblocks will be operational around the clock.
The new roadblocks are an add-on to the existing 4 roadblocks in the Petaling district. Previously, it was reported that PDRM will set up blocks at toll plazas of Sungai Buloh, Kota Damansara, Damansara, and Subang.
Petaling Jaya district police chief ACP Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid told the media that the decision to add more roadblocks was made following the Home Affairs Ministry’s call to tighten enforcement on the ground of all MCO districts.
