Owner Review: Subaru owned by Lady driver, Her 2020 Subaru XV GT

** This article is published on WapCar Community, representing the opinion of users. Click the link below to enter the community for car enthusiasts in Malaysia https://forum.wapcar.my/ Basic information of my car: 2020 Subaru XV GT Reasons why I bought this car I just got a new job that require me to commute daily around 100KM per day. I am looking for a car that is nice to drive, stable, high ground clearance (due to flash flood is very common in klang valley), and most importantly- Safe! As a

All-new 2023 Subaru Crosstrek (XV) launched in Indonesia; price up by 10%, equals to RM 161k

There's a new name for it, but the recipe is familiar: this is the all-new 2023 Subaru Crosstrek (as it will be named globally now, it was known as the XV prior) that's just been launched in Indonesia. Sold in the sole 2.0 i-S EyeSight variant, prices for it start at IDR 549.5 million, roughly equivalent to RM 160,575. That's a circa 10% price hike, but that's also because, well, it's all-new. On the outside the kit is rich; LED headlights, LED fog lights, LED combination rear lights, and 18-inc

Review: 2023 Subaru WRX Sedan - The best CVT in the world?

The 2023 Subaru WRX is in a class of one, especially if you opt for the manual transmission variant. In Malaysia, there are currently no other brand-new manual sedans apart from the Proton Saga and Perodua Bezza. Ah yes, it seems I’ve mentioned the car many have brought up alongside the 2023 Subaru WRX for their almost comical resemblance. But it gets old rather quickly so from here on out, that car shall not be brought up again. Overview: 2023 Subaru WRX Sedan Price RM 296,245 (AT), RM 286,245

Watch this Subaru dealer getting wet and dirty to demonstrate the CKD Subaru XV's 500 mm wading depth

It’s not often that car dealers put their money where their mouth is, but Motion Beyond, a Subaru dealer based in Setia Alam did that. In this short video, Motion Beyond put the Subaru XV through its paces, or in this case, through a water wading course to demonstrate the XV’s 500 mm wading depth. Naturally, the Subaru XV completed the course without a hitch, cementing its water wading capabilities. Insurance body: Windscreen replacement for cars with ADAS costs 4x more, improper calibration post-repair a concern

A survey by USA’s Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) revealed that about half of cars equipped with advance driving aids systems (ADAS) features that for whatever reason, required repairs, no longer work properly after repairs were made. ADAS is a generic term for an umbrella of driver assistance features like frontal collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, or blind spot monitoring. “Most of the more than 3,000 owners we contacted said they had never needed to have their cras

15 photos to decide if you prefer the Subaru BRZ over the Toyota GR86

The second-generation Subaru BRZ was unveiled in late-2020. It continued the tradition of a front-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car with relatively low weight and low centre of gravity. Before we continue, we’d like to extend our gratitude to Motion Beyond (Subaru Setia Alam) for the hospitality and making this photoshoot possible.
