Owner Review: Bang for the buck car - My 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid

Indonesia's seven-seater MPV segment is an extremely lucrative segment and Hyundai wants a slice of that action.
At the moment, Indonesian buyers are spoilt by choice when shopping for a seven-seater MPV, as options include the Daihatsu Xenia, Toyota Avanza, Honda Mobilio, Mitsubishi Xpander, and Suzuki Ertiga.

According to our colleagues over at Autofun Indonesia, Hyundai Motor Company recently patented the Stargazer name with the Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HAKI, similar to our MyIPO), implying that the new name could be fitted to the MPV.
Other details include the purported powertrain. OtoDriver reports that the Stargazer will get a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine that does 115 PS and 144 Nm, mated to a CVT-type automatic.
The upcoming Hyundai Stargazer will debut in Indonesia before finding its way around this region. Production of the Hyundai Stargazer should take place at Hyundai's new plant in Cikarang.
Seeing that Toyota is readying up the all-new Toyota Avanza and Perodua is doing the same with the next-gen Alza, there is a good chance that Hyundai may respond with the Stargazer here in Malaysia.
But that's not all, as Honda is also preparing its next-generation Honda BR-V and Mitsubishi is working on an electrified Mitsubishi Xpander. 2022 is shaping up to be the MPV revival year indeed.
