The driver that crashed a Lamborghini Gallardo on Jalan Tun Razak on 8-September-2021 has been sentenced to two weeks in jail and a RM 9,000 fine. Failure to pay the fine will result in a jail sentence of five months from the day he was arrested.
According to a statement released on the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department’s (JSPT) Facebook page, the driver pleaded guilty to the charges made against him at court.

The driver was charged under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving.
Other than that, the driver was also charged for driving without a licence under Section 26(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. This will mean the driver will not be allowed to apply for a driving licence for the next five years.

In the incident that happened on 8-September-2021, the suspect allegedly lost control of the car and crashed into six other cars, causing a Proton Perdana to flip turtle along Jalan Tun Razak.
The driver was revealed to be a mechanic driving a customer’s car without a licence or permission.
