2022 Mercedes-Benz GLA now costs up to RM 9k more, but adds LKA, wireless charger

Less than six months since its launch, the locally-assembled (CKD) 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLA has received a round of updates in Malaysia.

The Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 is now priced at RM 241,379 while the GLA 250 is priced at RM 271,164. Prices are on-the-road without insurance, with SST exemption, valid until 30 June-2022.

What’s new in the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

The GLA 200 now comes with ambient lighting, wireless charger, Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keep Assist, and Adaptive High Beam Assist.

Meanwhile, the GLA 250 gains Active Lane Keeping Assist and Adaptive High Beam.

Yes, the rest of the Mercedes-Benz GLA remains unchanged. The GLA 200 gets a Renault-sourced M282 turbocharged 1.3-litre 4-cylinder engine (163 PS/250 Nm) that is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The GLA 250 is powered by a turbocharged M260 2.0-litre engine (224 PS/350 Nm) that’s paired to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
