Carsome's new used-car buying process has a 5-day money-back guarantee

Carsome introduces a new process that will change the second-hand car buying procedure entirely. The new process will not only make second-hand car buying simpler but also offer car buyers a peace of mind.

The process is known as the New Way of Buying Cars, it is a whole new digitalised process that offers a one-year warranty, a Carsome Certified car, and a five-day money back guarantee under the Carsome Promise package.

It is specifically designed to give car-buyers a peace of mind as not only will they have a one-year extended warranty but also access to cars that have been subjected to Carsome’s stringent 175-point inspection.

This will help eliminate the worry if the car has been in major accidents and do not have structural or flood damage. Carsome's process will also eliminate the worry of hidden charges when buying a used-car.

Other than that, customers can also opt to get their cars delivered right to their doorstep.

According to Carsome Co-Founder and Group CEO, Eric Cheng, Carsome’s new process was designed after conducting extensive survey on what used-car buyers are most worried about when buying a second-hand car.

“Our Car Purchase Preference Survey shows that consumers appreciate features like extended warranty, test drive and money-back guarantee when it comes to buying used cars. The Carsome Promise and our carefully curated selection of Carsome Certified cars offer customers peace of mind when getting a pre-owned car,” Cheng said.

The entire car buying process will start with a customer browsing for their preferred used cars on the Carsome website. The website will list down all details of the cars, including the current imperfections of the car, and will also include a 360-degree view of the car’s interior and exterior.

Customers will also be given a detailed report about the refurbishments done to the car. If interested, customers can then choose to arrange an appointment to test drive their preferred cars at the newly launched Carsome Experience Centre.

Other than that, customers can now purchase a used car off Lazada and Shopee as Carsome has officially launched their Carsome Official Store.

In conjunction with the launch of the store, Carsome is giving out exclusive Carsome merchandise for the first 100 test drives, a RM 500 discount for those who trade-in their cars under Carsome’s Trade-In Discount Programme, and RM 800 worth of cash rewards with the Refer-a-Friend Promo.

There are interesting times ahead for used-car buying! Will this eliminate your worries when buying a used-car?

Toyota's Kinto is getting bored, finds a way to make the AH30 Alphard and Vellfire sliding doors close faster

You know how some cars can be truly fantastic except for one minor detail that you just can’t overlook and it ends up ruining the entire driving experience. It could be a terrible head unit or a bad seating position. Well, some of the engineers at Toyota’s Kinto subscription service thought that could be the abysmally slow speed of the sliding doors on the previous AH30 generation of the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire. Either that or they must be getting really bored over there. Or someone has secr
