Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival Season 5 Finale - Night racing action set to blaze Sepang this weekend

Engines will roar and tyres will burn, as the racing hits fever pitch at the Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival Finale this weekend.

The Season 5 finale will see the Vios Challenge racing series crowning its respective category champions in a night race weekend at the Sepang International Circuit, on 24-25 September 2022.

Alongside, a salvo of off-track action promises two nights of blazing entertainment for the whole family.

Held under the bright lights of the Sepang Circuit, the Vios Challenge race this weekend guarantees nothing short of sensational action as all four categories of the race series are likely to be decided in the last two races of the season.

Get ready for paint-swapping dogfights in the following series categories:

Promotional Class - Current leader Zizan Razak will stand off against defending champion Shukri Yahya to take top honours.

Rookie Class - Young aces Nabil Azlan and Muhammad Hamdany Abdul Hamid will need to secure the most points to become the rookie champion.

Sporting Class - Class leader Naquib Azlan (2021 Rookie Champion) has all to lose if he cannot hold off the chasing Bradley Benedict Anthony and Abdul Miqail.

Super Sporting Class - The battle of the Titans will rise to a crescendo between Tengku Djan Ley, Mark Darwin, Eddie Liew, and Freddie Ang.

In total, the Vios Challenge awards more than RM 500k in prize monies making it the most lucrative motorsports event in the country since its inception 5 years ago.

However, the Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival is more than just racing, it's a celebration of Malaysian culture, people, entertainment, and most of all Toyota's passion for motorsport.

The season finale will see the entire rooftop of Sepang International Circuit’s main paddock building transformed into a festival ground.

The exclusive entry will open the doors to a myriad of activities that include the opportunity for fans to mingle with their favourite celebrities, get signed autographs, check out the Gazoo Racing and Toyota merchandise store as well as other family activities.

The festival's main entertainment highlights are the back-to-back concerts with Saturday’s stage performances led by TGR racing celebrities Wany Hasrita and Nabila Razali and will conclude with a special Rappers & Racers concert anchored by K-Clique.

Singer and TGR racing celebrity Khai Bahar will spearhead Sunday night’s entertainment ahead of an exciting Rockers & Racers concert featuring Malaysian rock queen Ella and girl group Dolla

While opened to the public, the festival will only be limited to the first 2,000 race fans and celebrity superfans.

To be amongst the lucky invited spectators, check out the special contest and follow the instructions to register and secure your attendance for one of the biggest events of the year.  Attendance is limited to 1,000 fans on Saturday and 1,000 fans on Sunday.
