For once, it isn’t the Kelana Jaya line LRT service that is suffering from an issue but the MRT Kajang line instead. This morning (28-September-2022), social media users took to Twitter to warn other commuters that a train had broken down at the Cochrane station and commuters were forced to exit the train.
At 8.40 am, Rapid KL confirmed that the MRT Kajang service was indeed experiencing delays although they did not state the cause of the delay.
In a separate tweet, they further elaborated that the trains from the Cochrane station heading towards Kwasa Damansara were still experiencing delays and that they were working hard to resolve the issue.
Fortunately, it didn’t take long to fix the issue. Rapid KL tweeted at 8.58 am confirming that they have resolved the issue and were in the process of adjusting the service schedule back to normal.
