Goodyear expands its Assurance portfolio with the ComfortTred targeting premium vehicles

Hoping for next year to be a good year for the company (pun intended), Goodyear is ending this year with a new addition to its Assurance tyre range in the form of the brand-new Assurance ComfortTred that is aimed at premium passenger vehicles.

Among the key merits are a quieter ride and comfort. The former is achieved with ANX Technology that delivers a quieter driving experience. Constructed with an extra noise and vibration cancelling layer built with Goodyear’s advanced compound, the tyre is firmly insulated against rolling noise. The closed block pattern design helps to reduce air pumping noise while a high number of smaller tread blocks result in a lower impact force, further reducing noise.

In addition to the ultimate comfort and quiet ride, the Assurance ComfortTred ensures safety in terms of wet road grip and shorter braking distance. The new generation tread compound features a high amount of silica and resin for additional traction, which provides incremental modulation to the road surface, leading to better road contact and water evacuation.
