Just because you have a powerful machine in your hands, it doesn’t mean that the highway is a race circuit. One Audi A5 driver learned it the hard way on the night of 11-January 2023.
According to a viral Facebook post, at around 9.45 pm, a Proton Iriz driven by the daughter of a Facebook user, FP MI Sales, was violently rammed in the rear by the speeding coupe on the KESAS highway near Awan Besar.
In the dashcam footage, the Audi was attempting to overtake the Iriz but clipped the rear of the hatchback and flipped over. The German coupe was seen skidding down the stretch of the highway on its roof for a few metres before eventually stopping.

Miraculously, the upside-down Audi did not hit other highway users as it was dragged along and the Iriz driver was thankfully unhurt albeit a bit shaken. The post also stated that even the Audi driver escaped any injuries.
Many witnesses of the accident pulled over after including the dashcam user to help the Iriz driver. A tow truck was called, and the Iriz was towed away. The user was very grateful to the Iriz for protecting his daughter and praised the hatchback at the end of his post.
With the festive season fast approaching this week, it’s best to only leave the rushing to the dinners and not the journey. If you want to prove how fast of a beast your machine is, do it on a track or better yet, just stick to the virtual world.
