Launching next month, here are 20 photos of the 2023 Chery Tiggo 8 Pro in Malaysia

We’re bringing you live photos of the 2023 Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, which is making its Malaysian debut at the Malaysia Autoshow 2023. The event will be taking place this week from 4- to 7-May at MAEPS Serdang.

The Chery Tiggo 8 Pro is the brand’s flagship SUV that gets a turbocharged 2.0-litre unit mated to a 7-speed DCT. Power output is 250 PS and 390 Nm, with power routed to the front wheels.

To avoid confusion, the model is sold as the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max in China, but the ‘Max’ designation has been dropped for the Malaysian market.

Compared to the Tiggo 8 Pro that was previewed last year, the car shown here gets a revised front grille with 'new galaxy design’, full-width LED taillamps, and 19-inch wheels.

Standard equipment includes powered front seats with heating and ventilation function, dual-zone automatic climate control, 8-speaker Sony audio system, powered tailgate, panoramic sunroof, and wireless charger.

A full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) is equipped. The system includes autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning and keeping, blind spot detection, door open warning, rear cross traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.

The Tiggo 8 Pro will arrive in Malaysia as a locally assembled (CKD) model from the get-go, as announced by Chery in February 2023.
