Complete your Mercedes-Benz ownership experience with this star-branded metal credit card

You’ve just placed an order for your dream Mercedes-Benz, a reward you say you will give yourself. Soon, you will carry a Mercedes-Benz key fob in your pocket. But why stop there when you can also carry the three-pointed star in your wallet, literally.

Enter the Mercedes-Benz Card, a co-branding exercise with Maybank and Visa. Unlike a regular credit card, this one’s made of metal, for a genuinely expensive feel worthy of the three-pointed star logo.

Also, unlike other cards, this Mercedes-Benz Card offers discounts and additional reward points for every Ringgit spent on your car, on top of the many luxury lifestyle-oriented perks you would expect from a black credit card.

For every RM 1 spent on each visit to a Mercedes-Benz Autohaus, you will earn you 10x more Maybank TreatsPoints, allowing you to accumulate rewards faster than ever before. You can accumulate points not only when you send your car for maintenance, but from the moment you make a downpayment with your credit card, or renew your Mercedes-Benz's motor insurance.

These TreatsPoints can be converted into Enrich Points, which you can then redeem for a flight with Malaysian Airlines. Let's say you have spent RM 15,000 in your Mercedes-Benz's maintenance and insurance in one year - that spending would've earned you 150,000 TreatsPoints. This is equivalent to over 21,000 Enrich points, enough for a free upgrade from Economy to Business Class for a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne.

There are additional discounts too. Whether it’s paying for replacement parts on your car’s maintenance, upgrading your car with an original Mercedes-Benz-approved accessories, or splurging on a scale model of your dream Mercedes-Benz or any branded merchandise, the card will earn you 10% discount.

Mercedes-Benz won’t just sell you a car. The brand aims to be your trusted mobility partner, and that means taking care of your car needs in the longer term.

The optional Mercedes-Benz Extended Limited Warranty Programme offers peace of mind to buyers who want additional coverage in their 5th and 6th year of ownership. Holders of the Mercedes-Benz Card can enjoy up to 8% discount on the optional extended warranty.

There’s also the MobilityPlus guaranteed replacement car programme. Again, holders of the card are given up to 20% discount so regardless of any unfortunate incident, you will always be in a Mercedes-Benz.

But that's not all! As a Mercedes-Benz cardholder, you'll enjoy a myriad of attractive rewards tailored to your lifestyle.

Earn 3% cash back on petrol spent, capped at RM 50 per month. Savor delightful dining experiences with up to 40% discounts at premium dining venues within Marriott Bonvoy Hotels in Malaysia. Plus, experience the joy of golf with complimentary green fees at 100 golf courses worldwide.

You get all the perks of an Visa Infinite card, plus additional rewards / discounts when you spend on your Mercedes-Benz

There’s very minimal commitment as well. Successful applicants of the Mercedes-Benz Card will receive a two-year Annual Fee waiver. And with an accumulated card spending of RM 80,000 per annum, subsequent year annual fees will be waived as well.

Interested Mercedes-Benz owners can apply for the star-branded metal credit card and read the terms and conditions here.
