11 GWM Ora Good Cats successfully convoy across 15 cities in 3 countries, Bangkok - Kuala Lumpur - Singapore

Just a single Ora Good Cat is enough to catch anyone’s attention on the road. So, imagine a convoy of 11 driving from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur and ending up in Singapore.

That’s precisely what the recently concluded Great Wall Motor (GWM) GWM EV Convoy Tour was about, with a 11 units of the Ora Good Cat EV traversing 15 cities in 3 countries over 8 days.

The battery electric vehicles (BEV) convoy was held from 1-8 August 2023 and took a leisurely drive that started in Bangkok and headed south, passing through Kuala Lumpur and concluding in Singapore. Additionally, the journey also marked the official launch of the GWM brand, the official debut of the Ora Good Cat and the grand opening of its first showroom in Singapore.

The EV convoy journey aimed to recognise the capabilities of EVs for long-distance travel, testament of the durability and reliability of the Ora Good Cat. Furthermore, the participants experienced the EV charging network infrastructure during the convoy.

With up to 500 km of driving range, the Ora Good Cat ensured that range anxiety was at a minimum, as was stops to recharge.

The convoy had an enthralling journey, proving along the way that the Ora Good Cat is just at home on the highway for long-distance travel as it is in the city.
