The Hyundai Santa Fe is due for a facelift in 2021 and photos of Hyundai testing the car on the roads of Korea have surfaced. The new SUV is seen to have a set of new, sporty looking LED headlights and tail lights.
According to Korean Car Blog, the Santa Fe has been completely redesigned from the ground up despite it being just a facelift cycle.
The SUV still rides on the same platform as the current car, but Hyundai has done some remeasuring so the Santa Fe might have a longer wheelbase similar in size with the 8-seater Hyundai Palisade.
From the spy shots, the Santa Fe is seen to feature brand new sets of daytime running lights that resembles the shape of hammers and Audi-esque brake lights.
The Santa Fe is Hyundai’s most popular SUV as it makes up for 50 percent of the brand’s SUV sales in South Korea alone. It isn’t a surprise at all that Hyundai will go all out to improve the car even though this is just a mid-life facelift cycle.
