50 percent discount for traffic compounds starting 18-June-2021

The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has announced another traffic compound discount exercise happening from 18-June to 18-July. The campaign will see up to 50% discount on selected traffic summonses in the coming month.

Bukit Aman states that the discount campaign does not apply to traffic summonses that require a presence in court, any major offences committed this year, heavy vehicle summonses, as well as compounds issued for modified exhaust pipes.

JSPT Director Datuk Azisman Bin Alias reminds the public that all payment counters have been closed during the Full Movement Control Order (FMCO). He encourages all users to log on to the MyBayar Saman portal to make their payments.

The new campaign is one of many held in 2021. Earlier this year, PDRM held a discount campaign when they launched the new MyBayar Saman portal and mobile app. The campaign was specifically aimed to encourage more users to sign up and use the new online system.

Meanwhile, the Road Transport Department (JPJ) also held a special 70% discount campaign in conjunction with the department’s 75th platinum jubilee celebrations.
