Leading up to the premiere of the Fast & Furious 9, Universal Pictures Japan released a special snippet to tickle fans of the franchise with a bit of nostalgia.
It’s a widely known fact that the F&F saga has been around for 20 years. Nine movies and a spin-off later, fans are still hooked and the cars from the franchise are still going at exorbitant prices!

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Universal Pictures Japan put together interviews that the cast filmed 20 years ago describing how the first instalment of the movie depicted a world of underground racing.
Of course, the F&F franchise has far left the underground street racing culture behind and progressed to logic gravity defying stunts and cringey one-liners (we're looking at you Johnson), but it shows no signs of slowing down.

This isn’t the last we will see of Dominic Toretto and his ever-growing family, the Fast & Furious saga is set for another 2 more movies at least before it will come to an end (maybe) in 2024.
But this is Hollywood we’re talking about, either the franchise will live on in another 10 more sequels with Hobbs & Shaw, or another generation of new car lover would take over the series instead. Who knows?
