New 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe facelift launched in Malaysia - RM 495k

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has launched the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E300 AMG Line Coupe facelift. It comes fully-imported (CBU) from Germany, priced at RM 495,071 (OTR without insurance, with SST discount).

The pre-facelift E300 Coupe was priced at RM 511,700, with SST discount as well. Unlike the pre-facelift E-Class Coupe, the E200 variant is not offered for this facelifted model. It now comes in a sole E300 variant.

The Mercedes-Benz E300 Coupe is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that generates 258 PS and 370 Nm of torque. Power goes to the rear wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission. It’s capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds.

It rides on the Agility Control Suspension, which is a passive, selective damping system. Equipped with AMG Line, the E300 Coupe includes the more aggressive AMG styling. There’s the diamond radiator grille with pins in chrome and 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels.

The E300 Coupe is equipped with Multibeam LED that is said to offer brighter and more natural illumination at night. Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus controls the LEDs by switching between low, partial main beam and main beam automatically.

Inside, goodies include panoramic sliding sunroof, ambient lighting with 64 colours, and Burmester surround sound system. It gets the latest Mercedes-Benz steering wheel design with the capacitive functions.

There are two 12.3-inch screens on the dashboard that takes centre stage, one for the instrument cluster and the other for infotainment, running on the latest generation MBUX system. Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity is supported.

As for advanced safety features, the E300 Coupe is equipped with Driving Assistance package that bundles:

• Active Steering Assist
• Active Brake Assist (AEB)
• Evasive Steering Assist 
• Active Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)
• Active Blind Spot Assist (BSM)
• Pre-Safe Plus
