Fast becoming a Malaysian favourite, 34% of buyers chose the Honda City V Sensing in Q1 2022

The 2022 Honda City V Sensing is fast becoming a Malaysian favourite, as 34% of Honda City buyers chose it in Q1 2022.

“Throughout the years, the City is well-known for its safety and advanced technology. We introduced the City V Sensing variant to the City line-up in November 2021, and our record shows that it has been well accepted in its segment."

For the first quarter of 2022, the City V Sensing contributed 34% to the total City sales, which shows a positive trend for this variant and also the recognition of Honda Sensing, our advanced safety technology," said Honda Malaysia's new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Hironobu Yoshimura.

Beyond ADAS, the City V Sensing also adds on a 7-inch digital instrument cluster

Priced from RM 90,212 (SST-free until 30-June 2022), the City V Sensing sits below the range-topping hybrid RS e:HEV variant. Like its name suggests, it builds upon the regular 1.5 V variant with the addition of the Honda Sensing suite of advanced driver assist systems (ADAS), with features encompassing:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
  • Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
  • Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
  • Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS)
  • Road Departure Mitigation (RDM)
  • Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
  • Auto High Beam (AHB)

Earlier today, Honda Malaysia also announced the launch of the 2022 Honda City Hatchback V Sensing, which adds on the same features to the hatch. Prices for that start from RM 91,708.51, SST-free until 30-June 2022.
