可爱的Suzuki Jimny可能很快就会发现自己的新对手是复活的Mitsubishi Pajero Mini。复出的Pajero Mini可能最早于2024年会在日本亮相。​

根据Best Car Web的一份报告，Mitsubishi目前正在领导小型SUV的开发工作，这款SUV也将被重新命名为Mitsubishi的联盟伙伴Nissan车型。

说到Nissan，其复兴版Pajero Mini可以被称为Nissan Kix，这是Nissan90年代Pajero Mini版本的回归。

至于动力系统，Best Car Web推测Pajero Mini和Nissan堂兄可以搭载Nissan Dayz和Mitsubishi eK的引擎，包括常规的660 cc汽油引擎，以及轻度混合动力（MHEV）和电动（BEV）版本。

和Dayz和eK一样，即将推出的Pajero Mini和Kix可能会有不同的前灯、保险杠和轮毂。

Nissan Dayz是eK的孪生车型

复兴的Pajero Mini是否能在日本以外的市场销售，目前仍有待观察。在日本，Suzuki销售的一款Kei汽车大小的Jimny由一台660-cc的微型引擎驱动，车身更宽的Jimny Sierra由一台1.5升引擎驱动，后者作为Jimny在海外销售。
