Hyundai’s current line-up of cars consists of sedans, hatchbacks and many SUVs. There is only one more body-type that is missing from their line-up and that is a pick-up truck that rivals the likes of the Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger. What will a Hyundai pick-up truck look like? Here are some rendered pictures.
Despite how realistic the rendering looks, it really is just the imaginings of artist Enoch Gonzales. He even named the truck as the Hyundai Tarlac, after a province located in Philippines.
Sure, Hyundai will soon see the arrival of the Santa Cruz pick-up, but the Santa Cruz is built on the Hyundai Tucson platform which means the truck will sit in a different segment from the Toyota Hilux and Mitsubishi Triton.
Hyundai is rumoured to be working on a smaller Hilux sized pick-up truck, positioned below the US market Santa Cruz. The model will be aimed at developing markets like South East Asia, Latin America, and Africa.
What do you think about the Hyundai Tarlac? Will you purchase the truck if it ever comes to life?
