Is it possible Proton relaunched Satria Neo? Is there plans for Proton to make a new Satria Neo? It might just work, any nice Geely hatchback cars?

Li Shufu has stepped down from his role as Geely’s chairman to spearhead Zeekr – Geely’s new premium EV-only brand. The new EV brand will be parked under LingLing Technologies, Geely’s soon-to-be-launched EV entity.
Filling up Li Shufu’s position is An Conghui, who is currently Geely’s President and CEO.
To recap, Zeekr is Geely’s latest attempt at going upmarket. While the brand’s logo yet to be revealed, we do know what Zeekr will roll out models based on Geely’s open-source platform called Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA).

Zeekr is also considering rolling out a share ownership plan that allows customers to become shareholders of Lingling, which management hopes will boost sales and the relationship between brand and customers.
But that’s not all, as Geely is also planning a broad array of sales and marketing strategies to seek deeper relationships with the EV buyers, in addition to opening clothing and accessories lines for future owners.

Proton
Can Proton still be considered a fully-national car? For your reference, Proton is currently owned by DRB-HICOM (50.1%) and by Geely(49.9%). Most of the new car model launched by Proton is rebadged Geely Model. Would this still make Proton a national car brand or foreign car? Where is the originality?

Mamak Talk
Why do we always get Geely, but not the better Chinese cars? We don’t even have the good Haval cars in Malaysia. I wonder what’s the problem. There’s the new BYD Qin, a C-segment car with 3.8L/100km but started from 107.8K CNY (about RM 68k) Sounds a bit too far-fetched,right? That’s what I thought when I heard the news. The car is real on earth. It looks better, damn efficient and also very cheap. But then we end up getting rebadging Geely cars. We don’t even have the good Haval cars in Malaysia. I wonder what’s the problem.
