The Chery Tiggo 4 Pro is raking up some serious mileage, as this Chinese SUV has been spotted throughout Malaysia, with the most recent sighting being in Ipoh.
Photos of this camouflaged Tiggo 4 Pro was shared on the WapCar Car Fans Facebook group by reader Matthew.
Curiously, unlike earlier spyshots, this particular unit was seen wearing a Perak trade plate; earlier units were wearing Penang trade plates.

To recap, the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro is a B-segment SUV that aims squarely at the Geely Binyue (Proton X50 to us).
Depending on market, the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro gets a range of engines, including a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated engine with 113 PS and 138 Nm, a naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre with 122 PS and 180 Nm, and a turbocharged 1.5-litre engine with 147 PS and 210 Nm.

At the moment, the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro is only available in a left-hand drive configuration, though the ones spotted in Malaysia are right-hand drive units. Does that mean that Malaysia will be the first RHD for the Tiggo 4 Pro?

It remains to be seen for now, as there has been no announcement with regards to Chery’s distributor in Malaysia. The Chery brand has been stagnant in Malaysia for the past couple of years and its official Facebook page was last updated in 2019.
