Ditch maintenance costs and more via the Hyundai Grand Starex Smart Lease Programme

Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) has launched its Hyundai Grand Starex Smart Lease Programme in partnership with Sime Darby Rent A Car (SDRAC), offering corporations, businesses as well as individuals an attractive three to five years leasing programme with great savings.

Customers who sign up for the Hyundai Grand Starex Smart Lease programme will enjoy the ownership experience of a new vehicle without having to worry about loan application, long-term maintenance cost, road tax and insurance, resale value or the headache of disposing a vehicle.

Customers will only need to pay the agreed fixed monthly payment, a two-month deposit and a booking fee of RM500 upon signing of the Hyundai Smart Lease Agreement.

Among the benefits of this programme are:

  • Worry-free ownership
  • Zero inflation
  • Fixed monthly payment
  • Lower deposit fee compared to a downpayment
  • Flexibility at the end of term
  • Less tax payable
  • Free from car disposal
  • Lease Rentals covering all soft costs (i.e. insurance, maintenance, etc.) of vehicles.

“We have tailored the programme to fit the business vehicle needs of companies. The Smart Lease programme will provide greater flexibility without the hassle and burden of hefty upfront payments and other costs,” said Mr Low Yuan Lung, Managing Director of HSDM.

The Hyundai Grand Starex Smart Lease Programme is offered for all four variants of the Grand Starex, namely the Standard Corporate, Executive Plus without bodykits, Executive Plus with bodykits and Executive Prime.

The monthly payment for the Standard Corporate variant is as low as RM2,800 for a 5-year leasing programme with mileage capped at 15,000km per annum, that also includes a car replacement benefit of three days. Customers can choose to extend the mileage cap up to 30,000km per annum or 40,000km per annum with a monthly repayment of RM3,250 and RM3,550 respectively.

The Grand Starex is a large premium 11-seater MPV that features a 2.5-litre turbodiesel engine that is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission, swivel seats on the second row, a suite of safety features, overhead display monitor and more.

When the lease agreement expires, customers can opt to renew the lease programme with a brand-new unit. The Hyundai Smart Lease Programme offers significant cost savings of approximately RM17,000 for a five-year ownership.

Interested parties can head over to any of Hyundai’s showroom nationwide or register their interest via hyundai.com.my/showroom/grand-starex to sign up.
