The Lite and Plus variants get the smaller 58-kWh battery capacity with a single motor (170 PS/350 Nm) powering the rear wheels (RWD). 0-100 km/h sprint time is claimed at 8.5 seconds while WLTP range is rated at 384 km.
Meanwhile, the Max variant gets the larger 72.6-kWh battery paired to dual motors (305 PS/605 Nm) that power all four wheels (AWD). 0-100 km/h takes 5.2 seconds and has a maximum driving range of 430 km according to the WLTP cycle. All variants have their top speed capped at 185 km/h.
The Ioniq 5 has a CCS Combo 2 charging port and a maximum AC charging rate of 11 kW. As for DC fast charging, its maximum rate is not stated but Hyundai says a 350-kW charger allows the battery to go from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes.
