Footballing legend (yes, he’s a legend) Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Italian Serie A title for the second time in a row with Juventus. To celebrate that, he purchased himself a limited-edition Bugatti Centodieci according to Italian newspaper, Corriere della Sera.
The Centodieci – which is Italian for 110, was unveiled in August last year to celebrate Bugatti’s 110th birthday and as a modern homage to its 1990s supercar, the EB110. Based on the Bugatti Chiron, only 10 Centodieci will be built, each priced at around 8.5 million euros.
The performance figures of this limited-edition Bugatti are similar to the Chiron – 0-100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 6.1 seconds, 0-300 km/h in 13.1 seconds, and a top speed of 380 km/h. All that from an 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 engine that makes 1,600 PS.
Ronaldo himself is no stranger to exquisite cars or even Bugattis. As a matter of fact, he is a regular customer of the French supercar brand having bought a Chiron, Veyron, and a one-of-a-kind La Voiture Noire which cost 11 million euros. So, 8.5 million is probably nothing for one of the richest footballers in the world.
Besides the Bugattis, Ronaldo also owns a Ferrari F12 tdf, a Rolls-Royce Phantom, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Maserati GranCabrio, a Bentley Continental GTC, and a McLaren Senna. For his 35th birthday, his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, bought for him a Brabus G V12 900 which was also limited to 10 units.
