The long weekends are over and it’s going to be another month before we can enjoy yet another 3 day weekend. But that doesn’t mean that we cannot still pack our bags for a quick one-day road trip! Here are 4 parts of Malaysia that are definitely worth the drive out of town!

If a trip into the beauty of nature is the best way to destress for you, then maybe a trip to the clear cool waters of the secluded Chamang Waterfall is the best answer. The waterfall is located 75 km away from the city centre and only about a 1.5 hours drive.

Pantai Klebang - Melaka

If you’re an avid “road tripper” you would probably have made that usual Melaka historical tour. But we suggest avoiding the usual hotspots in Melaka and hitting the sandy dunes of Klebang instead. Pantai Klebang is Melaka’s worst kept secret just a little further off from the famous Klebang milkshake!

Qing Xin Ling - Ipoh

Coffee tours and Concubine Lane are the highlights of Ipoh, but have you ever heard of the small cultural village set within the tranquil backdrops of Ipoh’s limestone cliffs? Qing Xin Ling is only 5.9 km away from Ipoh’s city centre and will send you back in time to the 60s and 70s with the traditional homes and shoplots in the village while the limestone hiking tour will give you a whiff of working life back then as well.

You might think that it’s just another township but this writer has personally been brought around by the state culture and heritage guide and discovered the many heritage arts that the Perak state government is working hard to preserve!

Toyota's Kinto is getting bored, finds a way to make the AH30 Alphard and Vellfire sliding doors close faster

You know how some cars can be truly fantastic except for one minor detail that you just can’t overlook and it ends up ruining the entire driving experience. It could be a terrible head unit or a bad seating position. Well, some of the engineers at Toyota’s Kinto subscription service thought that could be the abysmally slow speed of the sliding doors on the previous AH30 generation of the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire. Either that or they must be getting really bored over there. Or someone has secr

You might be aware that Malaysia prohibits the import of electric vehicles (EVs) priced below RM 100,000, and this is indeed accurate. The rationale behind this policy, driven by the Ministry of Investment, Trade, and Industry (MITI), is actually sound when you consider their goal of attracting investments in the EV sector.
