Blackpink's Jennie gets her own customised Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo and it's not pink

In a very unconventional collaboration, we see Porsche Korea and one of the most influential K-pop artists team up to create a custom-made car. Blackpink’s Jennie now has her own customised Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo and it even gets a customised blue colour!

Named the Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo for Jennie Ruby Jane, the car is finished in metallic black. The customised colour, which Porsche named Meissenblue, is used to accent the black with details such as the singer’s self-designed ‘Jennie Ruby Jane’ logo located on the B-pillars.

The colour is also used on the smattering of letters on the car such as the ‘Electric’ wording on the driver’s side door, the car model’s name on the rear, as well as the specially designed rims.

Other customised details include the words Jennie Ruby Jane and Nini emblazoned on the illuminated sidesteps. The car’s side mirror projectors also project the clouds on the ground. As per Jennie’s wishes, the Taycan typography at the rear uses the current 911 generation font.

Look closer at the 21-inch Exclusive Design wheels and you will see the name of the artist printed on the wheel hub covers.

Inside, the interior is finished in a combination of black, Crayon, and Meissenblue. While black is the main colour, the seats, seatbelts, and top part of the dashboard are finished in Crayon.

Meissenblue accents are used on the door panel trim, the borders of the air vents, the cup holders, and the top marking of the steering wheel.

The headrests are adorned with the same cloud design. The same cloud design can be found on the custom-made dog box Porsche included for Jennie’s Pomeranian, Kuma.

The special collaboration between Porsche and Jennie is part of the Sonderwunsch programme. The Porsche Sonderwunsch department, or ‘special request’ in English, is Porsche’s department formed to create one-off custom cars and provide total refurbishment services.

The collaboration with Jennie marks the start of the Sonderwunsch programme in Korea. Jennie was said to be very involved with the entire process, she even brought a mood board she personally created to the first meeting to show the designers her ideas.

Porsche will be displaying the Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo for Jennie Ruby Jane at the Sonderwunsch Haus during the start of Blackpink’s world tour in Seoul.

The Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo is an electric vehicle (EV). The EV's electric motor generates 490 PS and 650 Nm and is able to make the century sprint in 4.1 seconds. The battery is capable of doing up to 517 km based on the WLTP.
