Under the Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), BMW Indonesia has launched the 2020 (G20) BMW 3 Series Touring virtually in collaboration with Tokopedia, an e-commerce platform in Indonesia.
Being a fully imported unit, the G20 320i M Sport Touring is priced at Rp. 1,289,000,000 (around RM 365k) which is a significant jump over the locally assembled 330i M Sport Sedan at Rp. 989,000,000 (around RM 280k).
For the money, customers of the 3 Series Touring would have exclusivity and the first 25 units will be available at the Official Store BMW in Tokopedia. Apart from that, there’s a larger cargo area being a wagon, 500 litres of boot space and goes up to a massive 1,510 litres with the rear seats folded down.
Exterior wise, it wears 19-inch wheels wrapped with 225/40 R19 at the front and 255/35 R19 at the rear. At the front, it gets the most expensive BMW LaserLight option, which many have pointed out the omission in our Malaysian spec 3 Series. In terms of dimensions, it is pretty much identical to the sedan.
Inside, there’s a panoramic sunroof and semi-leather seats. Elsewhere it’s the usual BMW 3 Series affair with a 10.25-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment system with Apple CarPlay (only) compatibility, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
For a spot of context, the BMW 530i is priced at 1,269,000,000 (about RM 360k) in Indonesia. Buyers of the 3 Series Touring will have to be really big fans of wagons.
