The BMW i8 Coupe is a plug-in hybrid sports car debuted at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The BMW i8 Coupe has a futuristic design that resembles the theme of an electric sports car. The BMW i8 Coupe is a 2+2-seater car and is packed with a 11.6 kWh battery pack. Light materials such as carbon-fiber and aluminium are mainly used to build the body and chassis of the BMW i8 Coupe to offset the battery weight. The competitors of the BMW i8 Coupe are Mercedes-Benz AMG GT and Lexus LC.
