The Audi A6 e-tron concept has debuted at the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show. Sporting similar dimensions as the regular A6, the A6 e-tron concept is built on a dedicated EV platform called the PPE (Premium Platform Electric).
Featuring large 22-inch wheels and short overhangs, the flat cabin of the A6 e-tron and the wide coupe roof arch give the vehicle proportions reminiscent of a sports car.
Also obvious on the A6 e-tron are sleek side view cameras.
The PPE platform is a further development from the J1 platform used for the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT. It will also be the underpinning of the upcoming all-electric Porsche Macan.

Charging-wise, the A6 e-tron is capable of 270 kW DC fast charging which is capable of charging the 100-kWh battery from 5-80% in less than 25 minutes.
With a fully charged battery, the A6 e-tron has range of more than 700 km.
The Audi A6 e-tron is the first vehicle to be built on the PPE platform and many more will come in the future.
