News surrounding the BMW iX electric vehicle (EV) in Malaysia isn’t new. BMW Malaysia started teasing the model in March, before launching the new EV in August.
Despite collecting 64 pre-bookings within 5 days of its launch here, the SUV was never seen on Malaysian soil, until now.
As seen on the ζΉθ£ ζ η½ͺ(v) Facebook group, a lone BMW iX was spotted on a trailer, hinting that BMW Malaysia could very well be commencing deliveries of its new EV.

To recap, the BMW iX is priced between RM 435,800 to RM 493,400, spread across four variants. Prices for the BMW iX post-Budget 2022 have yet to be revealed.
Power of the BMW iX xDrive40 comes from a dual-motor setup (all-wheel drive) with 326 PS and 630 Nm that does 0-100 km/h in 6.1 seconds, while top speed is 200 km/h.
Battery capacity is rated at 76.6 kWh, which allows for an electric range of up to 425 km in the WLTP cycle.
The more powerful xDrive50 will arrive later, registration of interest is open.
