BMW Malaysia has launched the G60-generation 2024 BMW 5 Series in 520i guise, with an estimated price of RM 340,000. Unlike the fully-imported (CBU) G60 i5 which was launched last November, the 520i is locally assembled (CKD) at the Kulim plant. The G60 BMW 5 Series features 48-volt mild-hybrid technology (MHEV) for its B48 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, which outputs 208 PS and 330 Nm in the 520i. BMW Malaysia has announced the updated 2024 BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport, with minor revision to its features and pricing. Starting with the latter, which has increased by RM 300, now priced at RM 420,100 (OTR without insurance, with the extended warranty and maintenance package).
