Facelifted Porsche Macan S Launched In Malaysia, From RM 625,000

Sime Darby Auto Performance, the local distributor of Porsche models in Malaysia has introduced the facelifted Macan S at the Sportscar Together Day event in Sepang.

Priced from RM 625,000 (on-the-road, without insurance, road tax, registration fees), the facelifted Porsche Macan S comes with the Premium Package as standard, which includes:

  • 14-way power seats
  • Comfort lighting package
  • Power Steering Plus
  • Park Assist with reverse camera
  • Automatic dimming mirrors
  • Bose Surround Sound System

The facelifted Porsche Macan S gets a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine that outputs 354 hp and 40 Nm, up 102 hp and 110 Nm over the regular Macan. In fact, when compared to the pre-facelifted Macan S, the facelifted model is 14 hp and 20 Nm more powerful. 

When equipped with the optional Sport Chrono package, the facelifted Macan S takes just 5.1 seconds to complete the century sprint (without Sport Chrono: 6.5 seconds). Top speed of the facelifted Macan S is 254 km/h. 

Porsche has also upgraded the brakes on the facelifted Macan S with new front brake discs that are larger by 10 mm, now measuring 360 mm and 2 mm thicker to 36 mm. If that is not enough, customers can opt for the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system.

Inside, the updated Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system now features a large 10.9-inch touchscreen with support for Apple CarPlay.
