It seems the craze for concept and Instaworthy cafes isn’t just hot in Malaysia, the rage apparently extends to our neighbours in Indonesia as well! Even Honda has decided to jump on the bandwagon with the opening of the first Dreams Café powered by Honda in Jakarta.
Honda fans can now enjoy a cup of coffee while lounging next to all things Honda. The café is decorated with an Ayatori concept in mind. Ayatori, or known as String Figure, is a traditional Japanese game that uses a string to form various patterns using one’s fingers.
Hence the café’s creative use of space and minimalist furniture. The choice of black and red colour scheme is a nod towards Honda’s racing dreams.
Not only is there a Honda Civic Type R on display, the new Honda City Hatchback RS and the Honda CBR 1000RR-R Fireblade are also arranged across the café floor.
Other than that, there are also posters of Honda’s many milestones and innovations throughout the years plastered around the café. Café goers can also enjoy a spot of fun with the F1 simulators. Honda will hold simulator races every month and winners can walk away with various exclusive prizes.

There are also drinks unique to the Dreams Café that you can’t find anywhere else. There is the VTEC Turbrew (a nitro brew made with coffee beans from Bali Kintamani) and Sensing ACC (black coffee mixed with coconut milk).
Located on the ground floor of Senayan Park Jakarta, the Dreams Café is the first café that Honda has ever opened in the world. It is brought to life by PT Honda Prospect Motor, the company is a subsidiary of Honda Motor Co in charge of production, marketing, and export of Honda passenger cars in Indonesia.
Hang in there, have faith that the travel ban will be lifted soon! So, if you’re a huge fan of Honda, be sure to add the Dreams Café powered by Honda to your list of places to visit!
