2021 Honda HR-V Hybrid updated in Malaysia, priced at RM 114k, now with LED headlights

Honda Malaysia just launched the new 2021 Honda HR-V Hybrid, now enhanced with LED headlights, LED tail lights, and LED front fog lights.

The improved HR-V Hybrid also gains chrome door handles (was body-coloured previously), as well as the option for Platinum White Pearl colour. Other colour options for the HR-V Hybrid include Lunar Silver Metallic and Modern Steel Metallic.

Inside, there is a new seven-inch touchscreen head unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Like the recently-updated HR-V RS, the Hybrid variant’s dual USB ports have been relocated to the centre console.

There is also a new three-spoke combination leather steering wheel for the enhanced HR-V Hybrid.

The 2021 Honda HR-V Hybrid is priced at RM 113,954 (OTR, without insurance, with SST rebates valid until 31-December). Before this, the Honda HR-V Hybrid was priced at RM 120,800, but that was inclusive of SST.

As before, power is derived from a petrol-electric hybrid powertrain, featuring a direct-injection 1.5-litre petrol engine hooked up to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Combined system output for the HR-V Hybrid is 152 PS and 190 Nm.
