Honda is on a roll with SUV debuts, and the recently-showcased Honda SUV RS Concept is a new addition to Honda's growing portfolio.
Hot off the launch floor at Indonesia’s Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2021 (2021 GIIAS) is a brand-new subcompact crossover from Honda, aimed directly at the Perodua Ativa, Toyota Raize, Daihatsu Rocky, and Kia Sonet.

Details surrounding the model are scarce at the time being, as Honda has remained tight-lipped so far. Powertrain, dimensions, and safety equipment are expected to be announced over the next couple of weeks.
From the looks of it, the SUV RS Concept does look quite ready for production – there’s no fancy camera-based side mirrors nor are there any oversized wheels. Elsewhere, this concept car gets all the typical crossover styling cues, like the rugged trim pieces, body cladding, and a pair of faux roof rails.
At this point of time, it’s a bit too early to say for sure, but the signs seem to point at that direction: from the looks of it, it does look like a smaller sibling slotted below the HR-V.

Honda Indonesia also mentioned that this crossover will eventually be offered in the ASEAN region, likely including Malaysia as well. Apart from the ASEAN region, said crossover will also be offered in developing nations, like South America.
